Welcome to Heisei Budo
The Heisei Budo Dojo is located in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. Classes are held three times a week and new students are always welcome. If you need more information check our training page or contact us!
The name Heisei can be translated as "Becoming peaceful, calm, ordinary or simple and signifies the renewal of the determination to maintain freedom and peace." Hatsumi Sensei once referred to those practicing the Bujinkan arts as Heisei warriors.

- New book by dojo member! One of the dojo's students, Shanon, has written a book of fantasy/fiction called "Way of the Wraith" detailing the death of a soldier killed in Afghanistan and the struggles he faces in the transition through the spirit world. Shanon, a Canadian Forces infantry soldier in Afghanistan, penned a good portion of the book while on tour facing his own struggles with life and death. Please buy it, read it and let me know what you think! Available through the publisher, Amazon, and Indigo Books(shortly).
