Training Information

Training generally consists of a short warm-up for the joints and muscles and some falling and rolling skills (sometimes with weapons), then some basic skills followed by more advanced combinations and technique. All levels of students train together as all the skill-sets, either basic or advanced, are necessary to be practiced by everyone. With enough repetition individual skill levels will increase. It's not what you practice but how often you practice it correctly that dictates your skill level. Testing is done in intervals of several months to determine who advances in rank. Basic self defence can be learned in a week - these skills go beyond that in many ways and take a great deal of time, patience and sacrifice to become mastered.

Locations & Schedule

We train 3 days a week at the locations below and we also train outdoors when weather is permitting.

There is a 1/2 hour free practice until 7:30 PM on Mondays & Tuesdays.

New Students & Pricing Information

New Students are welcome to try a class for free or watch a few classes to see how we train.

If you would like to watch or try out a class for free please contact to set up an appointment before dropping by.

Pricing is on a month-to-month basis, there are no contracts to sign, and you may quit at any time. In addition to the dojo membership, there is a yearly cost for a Bujinkan membership. Other costs to expect are uniforms, testing fees, and training weapons which may be purchased yourself or through the dojo.

Testing is held every two to three months and all memberships and testing results come directly from the Honbu Dojo in Japan (the headquarters of Hatsumi Sensei).
